Early Childhood

In partnership with Communities for Kids, Cedar County is collecting data with the mission to bring awareness and inform the community of the importance of high-quality early childcare and educational programs. The survey results will help us to find solutions to the needs identified in the surveys and what the community is telling us. The last year and a half have uprooted most people’s routines, sense of security, and understanding of how the world functions. Social distancing, virtual meetings, online learning, and sanitizing are a common place in today’s world. Thanks to science and the effectiveness of the vaccine life is returning to more familiar times. As children and youth head back to school here are some tips to help establish routine and structure that children and youth need to grow and develop.
