4-H Grants/Scholarships

Governor's Agricultural Excellence Award (NIFA Grant) - submit application by April 1, 2022

National 4-H Youth in Action Awards - due March 28, 2022

February Nebraska 4-H Month Promotion Grant Application  -  due April 1

Nebraska State Summer Camp Scholarships - due before registering for the summer camp

Cedar County 4-H Council Project Grant - submit project application before any scheduled 4-H Council meeting.  Summary of completed project due by September 15

4-H Council Activity Scholarship Application - due September 15 - scholarship for camp or educational activity attended  (pdf file - 1 page)

Career Portfolio - If youth would like to keep a record of all their 4-H and community service activities, this is a good resource.

4-H Achievement Application  - Cedar County Award Application due September 15, 2021
   In addition to county & state projects awards, National 4-H Congress and National 4-H Conference recipents will be chosen from these applications (when submitted onto state by January 15  extended to February 5, 2022).

Diamond Clover Award Program - due September 15

Livestock Achievement Program - applications due June 15th  and reports are due August 10.  Award recipients will receive recognition at the Nebraska State Fair.

Nebraska 4-H Gives Back - must complete a major service-learning project to benefit community

Clubs of Excellence Award - due September 15
Or you may complete this combined Clubs of Excellence & officers form (this is a fillable form)

Outstanding 4-H Achievement & Service Awards - due September 15

4-H Club of the Month Application - Any 4-H club can nominate themselves to be the "Club of the Month."  Each month, a winner will receive a $50 cash card from the Nebraska 4-H Foundation and a certificate.  Sponsored by Nebraska 4-H Foundation & Nebraska 4-H Ambassadors

FSA Youth Loan Program -  Need assistance in starting an ag-related project (bucket calf, sheep, swine, seed, etc.) or business venture, check out this program available to help youth finance the many kinds of income-producing agricultural projects.

Nebraska 4-H Foundation Senior Scholarships  -  due January 15, 2022 (extended to February 5) using the Annual Achievement Application (view for list of all state 4-H scholarships available)

WNAX $600 4-H Scholarship - application due April 30, 2022

Animal Science: Inspiring Your Future Scholarship Competition - $5000 scholarship for student enrolled in animal science program at UNL, enter by January 7, 2022

CASNR Change Maker Competition - submit 2-minute video, on how you want to make a difference in the world, by February 1, 2022 for chance to win $1000 CASNR Scholarship

Farm Credit Services of America - University and Community College Scholarships

Jarvis Memorial Scholarship - for females attending UNL and residing at Love Memorial Cooperative Residence Hall; application due March 15, 2022

Cedar County 4-H Council Senior Scholarship - due April 1, 2022

Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship - $10,000 scholarship, application deadline April 1, 2022

Independent Professional Seed Association - Agricultural Degree Scholarships - $2000 scholarships, application deadline extended to March 31, 2021

Norfolk Beef Expo Scholarship - due October 14, 2022
