DAIRY SHOW RULES
A. 4-H entries must be made according to the printed 2026 Custer County Fair Premium Book and entered online by 5:00 p.m. on June 26. Instructions for online entries will be emailed to 4-H families on approximately May 15.
B. ARRIVAL TIME-All dairy entries must be in place by 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26. Exception: A dairy cow, 2 years old and older, may arrive at the fairgrounds on the day of the show.
C. NUMBER OF ENTRIES PER EXHIBITOR-A 4-H member is limited to three dairy animals. Any combination of three dairy animals may be shown in the Dairy Group of 3.
D. SHOW SCHEDULE-The 4-H Dairy Show will be held on Wednesday, July 29 beginning at 1:00 p.m.
E. DAIRY CLASSES-Registered and grades animals will show together.
F. Animals born after April 30, 2026 are not eligible to show in individual classes or in Dairy Herds. Animals born prior to 8-31-24 that have calved must be shown as two-year olds.
