The purpose of the Washington County 4-H Ambassador Program is to develop leadership skills and build communication skills to be utilized when advocating for the Washington County 4-H Program, as well as other aspects of the Ambassador's life.
YOUTH RECEIVE:
- Increased understanding of their leadership styles, skills, and abilities.
- Increased confidence in public speaking and interactions.
- In-depth understanding of the Washington County 4-H Program.
PROGRAM INFORMATION:
- Age Requirement:
- Junior Program | 13-15 years as of 1/1 of current 4-H year.
- Senior Program | 16-18 years as of 1/1 of current 4-H year.
- Fulfillment of Duties:
- Service as a Washington County 4-H Ambassador includes a scholarship (amount dependent on program) sponsored by the Washington County 4-H Council. To receive this scholarship, a set of pre-determined responsibilities must be fulfilled within the program year.
