Food, Nutrition, and HealthExtension provides practical food, fitness, and food safety information.
EntomologyExtension provides bug identification services, best practices training, and educational resources about public health pests (bed bugs, cockroaches, mosquitoes, fleas and ticks), structural pests (termites and ants), stinging pests, and incidental invaders.
Extension is committed to helping Nebraskans know more about creating resource- and energy-efficient rural and urban landscapes, protecting and managing water resources, properly managing insect and wildlife pests, and more.
The Food, Nutrition and Health program is focused on improving nutrition, physical activity, and food safety outcomes for Nebraskans. Using an evidence-based curriculum, nutrition staff teach the community how to support healthy food and lifestyle choices within their budget.
