What is CodeRED? - CodeRED is a livestock disease alert system for Nebraskans. The Nebraska Department of Agriculture will use this for emergency communications. This system uses texts, calls, and emails to alert the subscribers of scenarios that could affect them, such as livestock diseases, fires, and floods. Dawson County Extension is looking to hire a 4-H Summer Intern. This is a county paid student employment position with an hourly wage of $15.00 per hour, beginning on May 20, 2024, with an approximate end date of July 31, 2024, working approximately 40 hours per week.
Summer Intern will work with a variety of Extension tasks. In the absence of a 4-H Educator, employee will assist other educators and assistants with 4-H workshops, contests, county fair, 4-H Camp, and coordination of the Dawson County youth program. There will be some development of materials.
