Kayla Mollet

Kayla Mollet is a Research Project Coordinator for the Sandhills Rangeland Monitoring Cooperative (SRMC) based at Panhandle Research and Extension Center. The SRMC conducts and evaluates monitoring data on a growing number of ranches in the Nebraska Sandhills. The project aims to connect ranchers, scientists, and the public in a network of ongoing knowledge exchange about rangeland health and management. Kayla also worked at West Central Research and Extension Center for 3 years as a research technologist for Dr. Julie Peterson, Agroecosystems Entomologist. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Dominican Republic. Kayla received her M.S. from UNL’s Department of Entomology and her B.S. from Oregon State University in Natural Resources. She grew up on her family farm in South Dakota. In her spare time, Kayla enjoys traveling and spending time in and learning about nature.
