Consider joining Extension Board!
As a representative of Extension, Board Members play a vital role in connecting the mission of the University to local needs. Extension Boards focus on programming, advocacy, personnel, and financial stewardship efforts. Board Members must be registered voters and live in Saline County. Applications are approved by Extension Board Members before going to County Commissioners where applicants are appointed, making this role part of county government. Applicants can look forward to engaging in the knowledge, talents, as well as different perspectives of stakeholders from around Saline County.
