GENERAL RULES & ELIGIBILITY: 4-H members are eligible to participate regardless of project enrollment. While a contest is in progress, a contestant shall not communicate with others, except as directed by the Superintendent in charge of the contest. Participants will be informed of regulations at the beginning of the contest. There will be individual competition only on the 4-H judging contests.
AGE DIVISIONS (age determined as of December 31 of the previous year)
Novice Division (8-9-10)
Junior Division (11-12-13)
Senior Division (14 years & over)
Note: The FFA and 4-H Division will compete together in one contest.
LIVESTOCK JUDGING CONTEST
The Livestock Judging Contest will consist of one contest with five classes of animals (beef, sheep, meat goat, swine and horse). The Livestock Judging Contest will be held on Thursday, August 13. Everyone is encouraged to participate. Open to adults, clover kid members, and non-4-H members.
