Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA):

Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) is a national multi-species quality assurance program for youth ages 8 to 21 with a focus on three core pillars: food safety, animal well-being, and character development. This training is required for all food producing animal or livestock project members. Food producing and livestock projects include market beef, sheep, swine, dairy cattle, dairy goat, meat goat, poultry and rabbit.

This year members will go to yqcaprogram.org and register a new account. Members will still have the option to take the Face-to-Face course with Rachel.

Members have to sign up for the Face2Face Training by logging into yqcaprogram.org and choosing the Instructor-Led Training. After the training, Rachel will then approve the member and they can then print off their Certificate and hand into the Extension Office! CREDIT IS NOT GIVEN UNTIL WE HAVE THE CERTIFICATE! No certificate =no certification!
