FarmHER Conference in Lincoln, NE

Excitement for the 2018 Grow by FarmHer fall tour builds as the team announces their return to Iowa and Nebraska with a new stop in South Dakota.   Events will take place in Brookings, SD on Tuesday,   November 13; Lincoln, NE on Wednesday, November 14 and Ankeny, IA on Thursday, November 15.

The Grow by FarmHer events are designed to inspire, encourage and educate young women, ages 16 to 22, to pursue their passion for agriculture through their future careers. A limited number of tickets are available and on sale now for $35/individual or $30/individual in a group of five or more.

Whether Grow participants are looking to expand their interests in agriculture, continue their education in the many  diverse ag-related majors, or are wondering what their future career opportunities might be, this event is a great way to connect with mentors and the women who are leading the industry.

“The goal with the Grow series of events is to show young women that they can do anything they set their mind to,” said Marji Guyler-Alaniz, President and Founder of FarmHer. “Through FarmHer we live the motto, if you can see if, you can be it, and that is exactly what Grow will show these women who will play a significant role in the future of agriculture. By bringing together today’s successful women in the industry with the next generation of leaders, we aim to help these young women ‘Grow’ as a FarmHer.”

A lineup of dynamic speakers, who are FarmHers themselves, will headline the Grow by FarmHer tour. Holly Hoffman, a previous CBS Survivor finalist, will share her message about overcoming challenges to achieve success. Marji Guyler-Alaniz will also share the purpose and mission behind the FarmHer brand. A host of     other powerful women will join the tour along the way through panel discussions and networking opportunities.

About FarmHer:

FarmHer was founded in 2013 to change the image of agriculture, depicting women taking an active role in the industry through photographs and by sharing their stories. It quickly became clear that women in agriculture not only appreciated FarmHer, but they needed it. And they asked for more. Today, FarmHer has grown into much more than just a gallery of images; it is changing the way people perceive a farmer. Through events, a weekly TV and radio show, podcast and lines of merchandise, FarmHer continues to update image of agriculture to   include women. Women are rising to the forefront of agriculture and FarmHer is excited to be a driving

force behind this effort. Learn more at www.FarmHer.com.
