Department G, Division 31 - Bottle Lambs
A bottle lamb must be born during the current year but before June 1.
Bottle lambs may be shown by any exhibitor 8‑12 years old. Also, an exhibitor may show a bottle lamb in addition to other sheep entries and they may carry the bottle lamb project as many years as they want as long as they meet the age requirements.
Lambs may be brought to fairgrounds the morning of the show and taken home following the show. Exhibitors may stall their lambs on the fairgrounds the entire county fair if stall reservations were made by the pre-entry deadline.
All bottle lambs will be shown together and will be judged based on the 4‑H member's project record book which must be turned in on entry day (one-third), their knowledge about their project animal (one-third) and the way the animal is groomed and shown in the ring (one-third). The conformation of the animal will not be considered in making the placing.
