Rules

                    Only one entry will be allowed per exhibitor, in any one class. All entries in this competition must have been produced in Nebraska by the exhibitor. Entries shall bear no labels or markings. Exhibitors wishing to identify their entries may send labels in a separate envelope to be attached after judging. Judges will use score cards in judging. Points will be deducted for entries less than the specified amounts.

M307 – Extracted Honey -Entries shall consist of 4, 1 pound queen line glass jars 

M308 – Creamed Honey - Entries shall consist of 4, 1 pound glass jars - cylindrical jars preferred. 

M309 – Chunk Comb Honey - Entries shall consist of 4, 1 pound glass jars - cylindrical jars preferred 

M310 – Cut Comb Honey - Entries shall consist of 4, 12 ounce combs, in plastic boxes. 

 M311 – Section Comb Honey - shall consist of 4 wood sections packaged in cardboard, cellophane window cartons or 4 round sections with clear covers and labels or 4 half-combed cassettes 

M312 – Beeswax Candles - Entries shall consist of a pair of beeswax candles that are either molded or dipped. 

M313 – Gift Basket - Entries shall consist of a gift basket of honey and products made from, or with, products of the hive. 

M314 – Beekeeping Story - Entries shall consist of 10 4” X 6” pictures mounted on a poster board with captions that explains beekeeping or skills of a beekeeper to manage a hive throughout the year
