CWF is an awesome trip available to 4-H'ers ages 15-19 that have completed 9th grade.  This trip is offered every 2 years in Buffalo Co. as a living/learning experience in citizenship.  Buffalo Co. 4-H'ers travel by bus with 4-H'ers from other nearby counties to Washington DC.  En route they spend approx. 6 days visiting cities & sites along the way.

We would like to share some easy, fun at home experiments and recipes.  Enjoy!

The Special Garden Project is a way to offer 4-H members the chance to grow unusual and fun projects in their gardens. The 2021 Special Garden Project is focused on the tasty Hakurei Turnip. These are not your grandmother’s turnips. Hakurei is a white salad turnip that is smooth, round and at its best when harvested under 2”. The roots can be eaten raw or cooked and the tops can also be cooked.

Carol Schwarz, Extension Educator in Buffalo County, would like to share some of her favorite recipes.  Enjoy!
