Jr. Camp is scheduled for June 5 - 7, 2024 at Whispering Cedars near Genoa. Jr. Camp is for 4-H’ers age 8 – 11 and the cost is $110.00 per camper, if paid by 5:00 pm on May 1, 2024. Between May 2 - 8, 2024 cost increases to $135.00 per camper.

On-line enrollment is now open to enroll your 4-H'er for 2024! You can access 4HOnline 2.0 by visiting the following link: https://v2.4honline.com/#/user/sign-in. 4-H Leaders and Council members are required to enroll on-line too!  Google Chrome and Firefox are the recommended web browsers to use when enrolling online. Enrollment fee is $5.00 per 4-H'er and no charge for Leaders or Council members. Card payment is required at end of enrollment process.

NEW FOR 2024: A simplified project list within 4HOnline for 4-H members to choose from. 

For 2024 the "Growing Clovers", a 4-H club for Clover Kids, is open to all youth who turn 6, 7 or 8 during the calendar year and enrolled in 4-H. Clover Kids in Platte County have their own opportunity to have their projects interview judged at the Platte County Fair. The Platte County Clover Kid Curriculum Guide (updated October 2023) reviews the projects and resources available.

Loeffel Meat Shoppe to celebrate reopening May 3

The Loeffel Meat Shoppe will host a grand reopening from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. May 3. The celebration will include recipe samples; demonstrations by Nebraska Extension on food safety, knife care and proper knife usage in the home kitchen (11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.); and store sales and giveaways.
