Southern Plains Livestock Judging Contest

Please join us for the Southern Plains Livestock Judging Contest on Friday, May 24th starting at 9am on the Nuckolls County Fairgrounds in Nelson, Nebraska.

Nuckolls and Thayer County are once again hosting Project Bonanza Days. We will be in Nelson on Tuesday, June 4th and Deshler on Thursday, June 6th. We will start at 9 am and finish at 3 pm. We ask that you please bring a lunch with you. The cost will be $50. 4-H age youth will be completing six projects and Clover Kids will complete ten. NEW this year is to register please click on the QR code or the link on the flyer. 2024 Nebraska Soil Health School has successful launch

The first installment of a planned 2024 Nebraska Soil Health School series was held on April 24 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln High Plains Ag Lab in Sidney, Neb. The event addressed the semi-arid Panhandle climate and potential management practices for soil health and had over 60 attendees.
