All market lambs and breeding sheep MUST be tagged with a USDA official scrapie tag.

DEPARTMENT G - DIVISION 811

Market Lambs

Weigh in time will be Wednesday, 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Short scrotum, cryptorchid, or ram lambs are not eligible for market class.  Wethers and ewes only.  Market lambs cannot compete in the breeding ewe class.  Market lambs must weigh a minimum of 90 pounds to compete for champion. There is no limit on the number of lambs each exhibitor can show.

Grand Champion Market Lamb will receive $10.

Reserve Champion Market Lamb will receive $6.

Breeding Ewes

All breeding sheep must be slick sheared to show. Registered breeding sheep ewes can show with wool on and must have registration papers on entry day when entered. There is no limit on the number of ewes each exhibitor can show. 

Grand Champion Breeding Ewe will receive $10.

Reserve Champion Breeding Ewe will receive $6.
