NEW TIME Goat Show - Thursday, July 31, 2:30 pm 4-H & FFA shows will be combined.
All dairy, market and breeding goats MUST be tagged with a USDA official scrapie ID. 4-H and FFA ID sheets are due in the Extension Office by June 1. The same goats cannot be shown for both 4-H and FFA. All goats must be dehorned or have horns blunted. Only Cloverbuds are allowed to use leads, all 4-H members must use the collar.
Goats should be a minimum of 50 pounds, excluding pygmies, at fair time. Goats will be weighed in at entry day of fair and will be divided into classes according to weight. Classes will be divided depending on the number of entries and the superintendent’s discretion. All goats must be carrying all milk teeth at the time of check-in. There shall be no evidence of breaking of the skin or eruption of the two permanent front teeth.
Only wether and female kids may be shown, no billies.

927. Exhibitors are encouraged to use their imagination to design a costume for their 4-H Goat. The attire should emphasize the personality of the animal.
