Please be sure to carefully read through all of the following requirements and guidelines to apply for the scholarships successfully:

1. Must be enrolled in Saline County 4-H for 2025 at the time of applying.

2. The application must be accompanied by your 4-H Activity and Achievement Record (recordbook). All records MUST be in ONE cumulative book. Not years of separate books put into one. If you turning in your 2024 recordbook to the Extension Office, we still have it here. If you need to to complete the application, please stop by to pick it up.

3. Attach one page of no more than 250 words about how your experience in 4-H will help you attain your future goals.

4. Preference will be given to Saline County 4-H members who have ACTIVE involvement/participation throughout ALL 4-H years documented in the 4-H Achievement and Activity Record with 8 or more years. Active involvement/participation throughout ALL years is desired. If you have less than 8 years of 4-H involvement, we would like to encourage you to also apply as consideration will be given to active youth completing the application and other criteria.

This is a 4-H scholarship, DO NOT INCLUDE OR PLACE EMPHASIS ON FFA ACTIVITIES except for areas in the application specifically asking for non-4-H experiences.

NOTE: To be considered for financial need, you will need to include your Student Aid Index from your most recent FAFSA/SAI report. Please attach a copy to your application. Just reporting the Student Aid Index on the application will not suffice to make you eligible for a needs-based scholarship.

You will need to print your application and sign it.

APPLICATION DEADLINE IS MARCH 14 AT 4:30 PM.
