The Chase County 4-H Council offers $100 Enrichment Scholarships to help offset costs related to 4-H learning experiences.
ELIGIBLE USES
- 4-H Camps
- Educational events directly relating to 4-H Projects (Examples include show clinics, project specific camps, etc.)
- 4-H Projects supplies or equipment (Examples include sewing machine for a STEAM project, clippers for a livestock project, wood for a woodworking project, camera or equipment for a Photography project)
ELIGIBLITY REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants must be 4-H youth ages 9-18 4-H age.
- Applicants must have completed a 4-H Achievement Application in the previous year.
- Applications must be submitted to the Extension Office by May 1, 2026.
- Applications may be handwritten or typed.
SCHOLARSHIP SELECTION
- 10 youth from each division may be chosen. All ages as of January 1, 4-H Age.
- Junior (9 to 11)
- Intermediate (12-14)
- Senior (15-18)
- Applicants must choose one camp, event or project item to write about.
- Scholarships are not transferable from one project/activity to another.
- Selection is based on the information provided in the application.
- Participants will be notified by May 22, 2026 if they have received an Enrichment Scholarship.
REIMBURSEMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Receipts or proof of enrollment must be submitted before scholarship funds are released.
- All receipts must be returned to the Extension Office by September 22, 2026 to receive reimbursement.
- Scholarship funds will only be issued for the item or activity listed on the application.
