Join us for January’s 4-H Photography Workshop.  This month you will experience the 4-H Photography Project. Take photos by following the categories listed below. Cheyenne County send to Lynn (lmckinney3@unl.edu) or Deuel County send to Marge (mradke5@unl.edu)  your favorite photo to have printed from each section. After your photographs are printed, you can come to the Extension Office and we will help you mat and label them for the fair.

 Cost: $10 Includes the printing of 3 photos and the mats.

Photos must be turned into the Extension Office by February 15th

Rising fertilizer and input prices are the hot topic of conversation in rural coffee shops across the corn belt. However, there seems to be little banter about how to make crop-input purchase decisions heading into 2022. So what should savvy farmers be discussing, in addition to rising costs, to make the best purchase decision?

Have you ever wanted to join the Master Gardener program, only to realize that the training program was over when you decided to inquire? See how to become a Master Gardener in a new video created just for people like you. You will learn about the Master Gardener program and hear from experienced Master Gardeners on why they love to learn and participate in the program. Master Gardener training will start across Nebraska in mid-January 2022. The video explains the sign-up process, fees, and class structure.

It's time to start our 4-H Clover Kid Programs in Cheyenne County and Deuel County   

The primary goal of Clover Kids is to promote healthy development-mentally, physically, socially and emotionaly.  Clover Kids is a once-a-month pgrogram for youth in grades Kindergarten through Second Grade. (5-8 year olds as of December, 2021)
