Jazzy Mix Zinnias:
Each year a special, fun, interesting, and educational garden project is introduced by the University. The 2016 Project is call Jazzy Mix Zinnia's. 4-H members need to enroll in the Special Garden Project called Floraculture. This Jazzy Mix Zinnia cultivar comes in shades of burgendy-red, red, yellow, and orange with cream, red, or yellow tips. The 1-2" blooms are fully-double and semi-double. These zinnias are a great cut flower that can get 20-26" tall. On average it will take about 75-85 days for the plants to bloom.
Contact the Cass Count 4-H Office by January 15th if you want a packet of zinnia seeds this year. The packets of seeds can be picked up from the Extension Office beginning April 1st.
