Jr. Camp is scheduled for May 31 - June 2, 2023 at Whispering Cedars near Genoa. Jr. Camp is for 4-H’ers age 8 – 11 and the cost is $100.00 per camper if paid by 5:00 pm on May 1, 2023. Between May 2 - 8, 2023 cost increases to $125.00 per camper. 

The 4-H Communications Contests allow youth to improve their public speaking skills while building confidence. Whether you write a speech, deliver a public service announcement, present an illustrated demonstration, or share a video it's sure to be an enjoyable contest!

After you have enrolled in 22-23 4-H program year, the Extension Office staff will approve you.Once approved, you can sign up for events/workshops. The 2023 Polk County fair dates have been set for July 19-23

 

The Confronting Cropping Challenges program will help producers make decisions for the 2023 growing season and they can renew their private pesticide applicator license. The program is offered in five locations across northeast Nebraska in December, including David City on Wednesday, December 14th. The program will begin at 1 p.m. and conclude at 4 p.m.
