4-H and Clover Kid members have already started making amazing items to exhibit at this year's fair. To help you know what exhibit number to list on the pre-entry sheet check out the WHERE DO I ENTER MY 4-H WORKSHOP PROJECTS help sheet below. Every project made or to be made at the workshops are listed. We can't wait to see all your hard work on display at the fair!

String Art - Kids will learn how to design colorful pictures using nails, string, and imagination. Optional Take Home Kit available.

Hat Burning - Youth will customize a felt hat using wood-burning techniques to create unique designs they can wear with pride.

Barn Quilt - Participants will paint a miniature, Americana barn quilt, learning about color, symmetry, and this classic rural art for.

Home Restoration & Heritage event details with craft options and times, colorful summer design.

Thursday, May 28th

Wood Block Family - Kids will design and paint a charming wooden family that reflects their heritage, creativity, and personal style. Optional Take Home Kit available.

Doormat - Create a functional and fun doormat using paint and stencils to welcome guests with personality.

Porch Leaner/Hanging Door Sign - Youth will decorate an Americana themed wooden door sign or porch leaner. Payment will be due that day to Melissa Carey with Country Rust. Average cost will be $45-$60. Parents are welcome to join.

"Quillow" - Learn basic sewing skills while making a pre-made blanket that folds into its own pillow - cozy and practical! Optional Take Home Kit available.

Design Your Dream Shorts - Participants will sew their own pair of shorts while learning garment construction basics. Supply list will be provided after registration.

Knot Bag and/or Lip Balm Holder- A beginner-friendly sewing project where kids choose to make a reusable knot bag and/or a handy lip balm holder depending on time and skill.

Terrarium - Youth will build a small mason jar terrarium while learning about plants, soil, and ecosystems! Optional Take Home Kit available.

Bird House - Participants will assemble and decorate a bird house, creating a cozy home for local wildlife.

Clover Kid Daycamp - A workshop geared for our Clover Kids, the 2026 Clover Kids Day Camp is sure to be loads of messy fun. Clover kids will make a creative tie dye shirt, a whimsical painted stone paver, and another exciting project. Come to the park for a fun and creative afternoon!

Thursday, June 10th

Un Earth a Story - Clover Kids will explore dinosaurs, paleontology, and archeology at the Un Earth a Story Workshop. Youth will make a "Dinosaur Shadow Drawing" and make a "Fossil Impression" to take to fair. Plus make their own homemade ice cream in a bag for snack.
