The nationally recognized food safety training and certification program by the National Restaurant Association provides the latest science-based information on food safety and best practices in the industry.  There are two courses offered in the North Platte, Ogallala, Lexington and McCook Area.  They are designed for food service managers and supervisory staff in restaurants, hospitals, schools, long-term care facilities and other food handling establishments.  Nebraska Extension in Lincoln, Logan, and McPherson offered these two courses through the year. ServSafe Manager Training 2025

A Food Safety Training and Certification Program from the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. ServSafe is the food service industry’s premier food safety training and certification course. It is recognized by more federal, state and local health jurisdictions than any other food safety training program in the United States. The ServSafe course is recommended for all types of food service managers, both commercial and non-commercial.

ServSafe Food Handlers Class 2025

This course is certified by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. ServSafe is the food service industry’s premier food safety training and certification course. ServSafe Food Handlers Class is good in Douglas-Sarpy County for two years, and recommended for all types of food handlers, both commercial and non-commercial. The class consists of five sections: Basic Food Safety, Personal Hygiene, Cross-Contamination and Allergens, Time and Temperature, and Cleaning and Sanitation. During the class, a short test will be given, and you will leave with your certificate.
