Nebraska Extension and Nebraska Beef Quality Assurance will be offering Beef Quality Assurance and Beef Quality Assurance Transportation Certification on  Friday, October 7, 2022 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Holt County Extension Office, 128 N 6th St Suite 100, O’Neill, NE 68763.

Many parts of Nebraska have recently had at least one night of below freezing temperatures. In some areas, temperatures have warmed back up and the sorghums have begun to regrow. The hydrocyanic acid (or prussic acid) in this new growth can be highly toxic to grazing cattle.
