Archery Deer Hunting Registration Guidelines
1) Registration opens Aug. 1, 2023 at 8 a.m.
a) Remains open until maximum 50 registrants
2) Must register ONLINE at https://go.unl.edu/ehd8
a) May register additional related persons with same physical address; must send copy of current hunting permit matching in-person registrant address
3) Must email a copy of your photo ID to cmost4@unl.edu to verify registration information
4) Must email a copy of hunting permit to cmost4@unl.edu prior to hunting. (ENREEC Hunting Park tag
issued via email at that time.)
5) ENREEC reserves the right to refuse or revoke registration at all times and without cause.
Hunter Requirements
- Must obey all Nebraska statues and regulations.
- Must follow current published information available at: Hunting | Nebraska Extension (unl.edu)
- Report taking of deer (approximate location and animal description) to ENREEC at 402-624-8000. Provide approximate location and animal description.
- Access only on established gravel and paved roadways; and only upon other non-aggregate roadway when surface is dry.
- All vehicles on property must display ENREEC Hunting Tag.
- No permanent hunting stands. Hunting stands shall be removed at the end of the season. Each stand in place shall have the name of person responsible attached. Screws, nails, wire, or bolts are not allowed to attach to trees.
- Violations of any rules will result in immediate revocation of access permission and be subject to future denials of application at Director’s sole discretion.
- Be good stewards and self-regulate the hunting environment. The University does not intend to mediate hunter complaints. The University offers limited hunting privileges to the public provided undue resources are not expended to administer the program.
