Organic farming and soil health undergraduate student positionWe are looking for undergraduate students with an interest in organic agriculture, cover crops, soil health, and regenerative ag practices. This position is based at the Eastern Nebraska Research, Extension & Education Center (ENREEC) near Mead (45 minutes north of Lincoln). Students will help in developing and editing resource materials for farmers, assist in maintaining and sampling soil health and cover crop experiments in the field, maintaining website and social media accounts, and process samples and data entry. Students can work between 5 and 20 hours per week. While we prefer to have students be able to work one full day per week in person at the Eastern Nebraska Research, Extension & Education Center, we are flexible with scheduling and will allow for some remote work. Driver’s license required. Position will pay $15 per hour. Pre-employment criminal background, license and physical check required.
