CLUB OFFICER REPORTS

*Q 001 901  SECRETARY'S BOOKS  Awards based on complete and clear records of minutes, attendance, club activities, etc.

*Q 001 902  NEWS REPORT  Each news reporter may enter a news report exhibit of their own news reports.  Three or more clippings from daily or weekly newspapers mounted on single sheet 8 ½" x 11".  Clippings must be from newspapers dated after October 1 of the previous year.  Each clipping must have the name and date of the newspaper in which it appeared.  The sheet will contain the name, age, and county of the club member. The news article may be about any subject related to 4-H Clubs and will be judged on news value and style.

*Q 002 901  INDIVIDUAL  The “Show Your Stuff” project will include any item made at a 4-H Learn-By-Doing Day, Day Camp, or any other educational event or training you may have attending during the current 4-H year. It may even be a project you made at a 4-H Club meeting!  All you need to do is identify the project with your name, 4-H club, and age.  Bring it to the Fair by 11:00 AM on Wednesday. All exhibits in this category displayed at the Fair, will receive a participation ribbon and a $1.00 premium.

   If entering a video in this category, be sure to arrange for the proper method to showcase your project; such as, a working and fully charged laptop, speakers, etc.

*Q 003 901 Video Public Service Announcement: A short video that communicates an educational message focused on a cause, activity, or event (Length: 60 seconds).

*Q 003 902 Narrative: A video that tells a fact or fiction story (Length: 3-5 minutes).

*Q 003 903 Documentary: A video that presents factual information about a person, event, or process (Length: 3-5 minutes).

*Q 003 904 Animation or Stop Motion: A video created by techniques that simulate movement from individual images (Length: 3-5 minutes).

 

4-H MISCELLANEOUS PROJECTS

   This section is only for those items that do not have an exhibit listed in the previous sections. The exhibit may include pictures, articles, scrapbooks, news clippings or any other means of exhibiting that you choose. NO CRAFT ITEMS ARE TO BE EXHIBITED HERE!! One item per premium number.

*Q 152 903  RECYCLED/UPYCLED 4-H RIBBONS Create an item using 4-H ribbons or rosettes. Examples, wall hanging, frames, quilts and more. Use your imagination. Item must be made of at least 50% ribbons, your choice for remainder of materials.
