To serve as a volunteer for the 2024/2025 enrollment, volunteers must complete the 4HOnline enrollment, volunteer orientation and a background check must be received by the Extension Office before they can serve, or by March 15th.

What are Indirect and Indirect Volunteers?

Indirect volunteers are those supporting 4-H program without directly interacting with youth, such as event helpers, program support roles, ring help.

Direct volunteers are those working directly with youth, such as club leaders and workshop facilitators 4-H Council Members. In Deuel County, Fair Superintendents are considered Direct Volunteers.
