The Youth Livestock Judging Contest will be held on Saturday, February 24th at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds in Kearney. Youth will judge 8 classes split into two rounds (4 classes/round). There will be two age divisions - Junior (ages 8-13) and Senior (14 and up).

Early entry fee is $60/team and $15 per individual. Entries are due by February 5th  to Mike Roeber, NECC Judging Coach P.O. Box 469 Norfolk, NE 68702 mikesr@northeast.edu Youth Division Packet 2018

A change from last year is that exhibitors will be responsible for submitting their own animal information into the AKSARBEN livestock database prior to the nomination deadline.

In the past, families have turned in DNA envelopes & breeding nomination cards to the office, staff mailed them in to AKSARBEN and the entry process was done manually.

Now, the database accepts animal information submitted directly by exhibitors including payments for DNA. Families will have the ability themselves to edit incorrect information up to the deadline.
