Milos Zaric

Meet Milos Zaric, a Ph.D. student conducting industrial hemp and hops research at West Central Research Extension and Education Center. Through his research on industrial hemp, he examines the impact of herbicide drift on the plant and hopes to find the best herbicide option for industrial hemp. The goal of his hops research is to better understand pesticide penetration through the plant canopy. Learn more about Milos and his research here

Barbara Houston

Meet Barbara Houston, a graduate student from Serbia. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy in 2019. In the agronomy department, Barbara specializes in weed science. Her research focuses on water quality parameters that influence herbicide efficacy and drift potential from air inclusion nozzles.
