The Washington County 4-H Council reviewed and made revisions to the age divisions for the Washington County 4-H events, contests, and certifications. The 4-H Council took into consideration both safety and alignment of the state contests/regulations. Below are the changes that have been made to the Washington County 4-H Program age divisions. Washington County Fair Communications Contest
- Senior Division: 14-18 years old (was 13-18 years old)
- Intermediate Division: 10-13 years old (was 10-12 years old)
- Junior (8-9 years old)
- Clover Kid (5-7 years old) – (no change)
Washington County Fair Favorite Foods Day Contest
- Senior Division: 14-18 years old (was 13-18 years old)
- Intermediate Division (was “Junior” Division): 10-13 years old (was 10-12 years old)
- Junior Division (was “Novice” Division): 8-9 years old – (no change)
- Clover Kid Division: 5-7 years old (no change)
Washington County Fair Rocket Launch Contest
- Senior Division: 14-18 years old (was 15-18 years old)
- Intermediate Division: 11-13 years old (was 12-14 years old)
- Junior Division: 8-10 years old (was 8-11 years old)
- Clover Kid Division: 5-7 years old (no change)
Washington County Fair Shooting Sports BB Gun Contest
- Advanced Division: 16-18 years old (ADD/NEW)
- Senior Division: 13-15 years old (was 15-18 years old)
- Intermediate Division: 11-12 years old (was 12-14 years old)
- Junior Division: 9-10 years old (was 10-11 years old)
- Novice Division: 8 years old (was 8-9 years old)
Washington County Fair Tractor Driving Contest
- Senior Division: 15-18 years old (was 14-18 years old)
- Intermediate Division: 12-14 years old (was 12-13 years old)
- Junior Division: 8-11 years old (no change)
