The 2023 conference was for those transitioning to organic farming or a newly certified organic farmer? This one-day conference was put together by a team of UNL researchers, extension personnel, and local farmers and had sessions on how to improve soil fertility, manage weeds, and develop resilient crop rotations for organic grain farms. Panel discussions with organic producers were also part of the program. There were opportunities to learn and mingle with other growers, vendors, educators, and researchers.
