Poultry – Market Broilers: County Fair - Must be purchased thru the Adams County Extension Office.
Rabbits – County Fair – None needed. State Fair - Tattoo (via online entry only) (County Verification for State - Adams Rabbit Affidavit revised 2025)
Sheep – Market Lambs – NE 4-H/FFA Market Lamb: County Fair - 4-H Ear Tag plus Scrapie Tag. State Fair – Scrapie Tag, DNA Sample & online nomination.
Sheep – Breeding Ewe – NE 4-H/FFA Breeding Sheep: County Fair - 4-H Ear Tag plus Scrapie Tag. State Fair - Scrapie Tag, DNA sample & online nomination.
Sheep - Market and Breeding Combined New Form - Adams Sheep Market and Breeding Affidavit 2025: County Fair - 4-H Ear Tag plus Scrapie Tag. State Fair – Scrapie Tag, DNA Sample & online nomination.
Swine – Adams Market Swine Affidavit Revised 2025: County Fair - 4-H Ear Tag or EID (NO Notches). State Fair – (for Breeding Swine also) EID, DNA Sample & online nomination
Breed Registration Papers – Copy of the breed registration papers turned in with corresponding Identification form for any Market or Breeding animal that is a possible animal to be split out into a special “Breed Class” at County Fair is highly recommended or you can bring them to Fair on Animal Check-in to show the Superintendent. The registration papers must show the exhibitor’s name or a co-owner who is an immediate member of the exhibitor’s family. New in 2025 - Family Farm or Ranch Names will not be accepted.
Affidavits are updated. Adams County ID sheets (Old ID forms or New / Revised forms) will be accepted in 2025.

These Identification forms are to be turned in to the Adams County Extension Office by appropriate deadline dates.
We use them to Identify the eligible animals that can be shown at Adams County Fair.
Horse ID sheets and Dog Vaccination Forms are also used for State 4-H Events / Fair
