The Nutrition Education Program (NEP) helps families on a limited budget improve the quality of their diet and become more physically active. NEP participants acquire the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behavior changes necessary to improve their health. NEP is free to all participants who meet income guidelines. Next Chapter is a college-readiness program delivered through the Nebraska 4-H program that helps students prepare for and succeed in college by providing the skills students need to reach their academic goals. It consists of four Chapters with the intent to complete one chapter a year. By completing Next Chapter and being enrolled in 4-H, you will be pre-admitted to the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.
