Adams County 4-Hers are again participating with the Quilts of Valor in 2024. We also are holding Quilts of Valor sewing dates, if interested please contact the Extension Office. In 2015, Iowa Public Television came to York, Nebraska, and Nebraska State Fair to videotape Nebraska 4-Hers who were working with Quilts of Valor. Several of our 4-Hers, leaders, and Extension Staff were interviewed and showcased. The 100+ minute documentary was shown in Iowa the first part of December 2015. In Nebraska, the Quilts of Valor II Documentary was shown 1st part of March, 2016 on NET(1) and NET Create (3). We will be showcasing the 2023 participating Counties and the 4-Hers who made the Quilts at the Nebraska State Fair in the 4-H Building. Come join us and see all the work that these 4-Hers have done thru the past year.
What are School Education Programs?

These programs are learning experiences offered to students during school hours by local 4-H educators. These programs are designed to enhance the subject matter being studied in the classroom, provide hands-on education, introduce a new topic to students, or spark a new interest!

School Education Programs are a great way to connect and collaborate with your local Extension office and achieve your classroom’s educational goals. Our current programs focus on Career Development, STEM, Healthy Lifestyles, Personal Development and Agricultural Literacy and Environment.
