2020 CARES Act – Financial Supports for Small Business

Whether a business is impacted by weather-related disasters, road construction or sudden economic downturns, having a plan to mitigate the impacts can be crucial to the immediate and long-term survival of the business. Unforeseen circumstances, such as the COVID-19 pandemic may require owners to re-evaluate their business models, cut operating costs and seek outside financial supports – all to keep cash flowing and the business open.

The Master Gardener Horticulture Helpline is available to answer gardening questions and to take samples for identification/diagnosis during the following times and days. The helpline is a service to everyone, regardless of what county they are from.

Red Summer Academic Camp

Red Summer Academic Camps are residential, career exploration camps held at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. By participating in a camp youth get the opportunity to explore the UNL campus, meet people from across the country, spend time investigating an interest or potential career, and have a lot of fun! During the week-long camps, participants will work with UNL faculty to explore the topic of their particular camp, like filmmaking or crop science. After spending several fun-filled days on campus, participants' families are invited to attend a special capstone event where youth showcase their achievements.

2018 Citizenship Washington Focus Trip

 

2018 Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF) Trip registration.  If you will be 14 and not older than 18 on or before December 31, 2017, you are eligible to participate in the trip.  This trip is a multi-county trip of 4-Hers in the Northeast Extension District. The tentative dates of the trip are Thursday, June 7 through Saturday, June 16, 2018.  These are tentative as schedules may change, but based on trips we have taken in the past, we try to book similar dates every three years.
