Adams County 4-H Awards

The 4-H Council has adapted the award process to try to fit the needs of our county.  Adams County Awards entries are due in the Extension Office the First Monday in October by 5:00 PM. This deadline is for the Award Application, Golden Clover, and Diamond Clover applications.

Adams County 4-H Members have the opportunity to participate in county and state awards and opportunities.  A 4-H’er will need to complete each application that fits the awards that they would like to be considered.

  1. Adams County Award Application – this if for the Adams County Project Medals and Special Awards.  Any youth 8 to 18 years old can fill this out to apply for the County Project Medals. It is focused on the current year’s achievements. This is due First Monday in October by 5:00 PM. Selection of the Special County Awards for those youth ages 14 - 18 years old will be done based on the Adams County Award Application. Special County Awards include Chamber 4-H Event Scholarship, Outstanding Leadership, and Adams County Tribland Candidate. Golden Clover Applicants must complete the Award Application and an additional Golden Clover Question . Golden Clover Application Criteria (Update Coming 2025) - Use the Adams County Awards Application with the one Question. 
     
  2. Nebraska 4-H Achievement Application – this is for our oldest youth (ages 15 -18) that are applying for Nebraska 4-H Foundation Scholarships, National 4-H Congress and National 4-H Conference. This is due in early January. See state's website for further information.

Diamond Clover

Great award to show progress throughout 4-H Career!

The Nebraska 4-H Diamond Clover program encourages 4-H members to engage in a variety of projects and activities that will help them acquire life skills necessary to lead successful lives as a competent, caring, and contributing citizen. The program consists of six levels that require a 4-H member to plan and report a broad range of age-appropriate accomplishments.

Nebraska 4-H Annual Achievement Application

This is application process and will be used for the selection of State and national awards including the selection of delegates to National 4-H Congress, National 4-H Conference and for Nebraska 4-H Foundation Scholarships.
