The Eastern Nebraska Research, Extension and Education Center (ENREEC) was formerly the University of Nebraska's Agricultural Research and Development Center near Mead, Nebraska. Due to the unique location with neighboring rural and urban communities - ENREEC meets the diverse needs of Nebraska's rural sector and its growing urban population through the integration of research efforts and valuable programming of Nebraska Extension. Nebraska Extension includes 11 engagement zones across the state. Extension staff and programming at ENREEC are part of Engagement Zone 8 (click on the gray box below to learn more about the Engagement Zones).
