  1. FORT ROBINSON HORSE CAMP

     June 11-13, 2026

  1. Fort Robinson,  near Crawford, Nebraska
  2. Ages 8 & older Fee:  $75 - This includes craft, supper, t-shirt,,
  3. horse stalls for Thursday and Friday night. 

The annual 4-H Horse Camp will be held at the Fort Robinson State Park near Crawford. 

The sessions include working ranch, horse stretching, riding games, creating a rope halter, and more! 

For youth members 8 and above the fee is $75. This includes craft, supper, t-shirt, horse stalls for Thursday and Friday night.

SUCCULENT CREATIONS: JUNE 15

Marvelous Muffins: Bake it to Fair

  • When: June 16th from 1 -3 pm
  • Where: Sheridan County Extension Office
  • Who: Ages 8+
  • Cost: $15
  • Register by: June 1st

Participants will learn basic baking skills, mix and bake muffins, and experiment with different flavors and mix-ins to create their own unique recipe.

 

 

SHOWMANSHIP BASICS: JUNE 17TH

  • Ages: 8+
  • Sheridan County Fairgrounds
  • 3 p.m.- 6 p.m.$5.00

Come create 4 projects in 1 day Youth will create a bookshelf, doormat, tray, and crate ottoman.

Fun With Welding - June 25th 

  • Design a welding project using horseshoes.  
  • 8+ 
  • Workshop will be held at Hay Springs Highschool Shop
  • 1- 4 p.m.

STITCH & CREATE: JUNE 29TH  

  • Design a new outfit at this summer workshop. Youth will burn hats design a t-shirts and create a skirt from jean shorts.
