4-H Youth Take on Challenge of Wearable TechOn October 4th, Nebraska joins youth from across the county in the challenge of designing wearable fitness trackers as part of the world's largest youth-led science experiment.
It is time to apply for the 2018-19 National Western Stock Show Catch A Calf Program. This year Nebraska has six young people participating after catching a calf in January at the NWSS in Denver, they will be showing their Hereford Steers in January. This is an excellent learn experience for these young livestock leadership. It is more than catching and showing, it is learning how to care and raise these steers coming right from the ranch, but also record keeping, tracking progress, building relationships with sponsors, and strengthening life skills.
