GENERAL RULES:

  1. 4-H members are eligible to participate in all contests regardless of projects carried except for all Shooting Sports Contests. Project enrollment is required for these contests. 
  2. REGISTRATION & PRE-ENTRY - Registration Form is required for: Communications Contest/Food Revue/Horticulture/Wildlife (see deadline to register on each form).
  • YELLOW contest entry form or online at: https://nemaha.fairwire.com for: ATV & Tractor Driving Contest/Animal Judging Contests by June 15th (or the next business day if June 15th falls on the weekend).
  • FOR SHOOTING SPORTS CONTESTS: Youth must be enrolled in the project on 4HOnline before attending practices, which are required for contest participation.
  1. Participants in Activities & Contests are divided into age group divisions (senior, intermediate, and junior).
  2. RECOGNITION: All 4-H members participating in these contests will be recognized as follows:
  • A premium and ribbon will be awarded to all participants. 
  • The top three contestants in each class will receive medallions: Gold - 1st place, Silver - 2nd place, Bronze - 3rd place.

  2. 4-H SPECIAL ACCOMMODATION POLICY ADAPT CONTEST RULES -  Youth can request accommodation to be able to participate in 4-H contests. See 4-H Special Accommodation Policy.
