The Nutrition Education Program (NEP) helps families on a limited budget make healthier food choices and choose physically active lifestyles by acquiring the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behavior changes necessary to improve their health. NEP is free to all participants who meet income guidelines. Additionally, NEP participates in Policies, Systems and Environmental (PSE) strategies that impact communities.

What is this program called 4-H?
Let us help you . . . . . .
Many people think of 4-H as an independent organization, but that isn't quite accurate. 4-H is the youth development program of the national Cooperative Extension System, through
the United States Department of Agriculture.
This means that your 4-H extension staff members are supported with resources from Land Grant Universities across the nation. Just take a look at our research-based curriculum and you can feel complete confidence in 4-H as a sound, educational organization. And, we've been around for over 100 years!
The Dodge County 4-H program will celebrate their year at the 2016 Achievement Celebration on Sunday, November 6, 2016 starting at 5:00 p.m. "4-H Grows Here" is the theme for the event which will highlight 4-H ackomplishments and the 4-H Leaders years of service. Please RSVP for this event by Wednesday, November 2, 2016.
