Purpose

4-H school enrichment programs bring hands-on learning to life right in the classroom. It’s all about getting kids excited, curious, and connected—boosting what they’re already learning in school while opening the door to the bigger world of 4-H. These programs strengthen our partnerships with teachers and schools, build confidence through real-world activities, and inspire youth to jump into even more 4-H adventures down the road.

Membership Requirements

Youth DO NOT have to be an enrolled 4-H member to participate in the 4-H school enrichment program.

All Cuming County school enrichment programs are FREE OF CHARGE for all teachers and staff.

Structure

4-H school enrichment programs happen right in the classroom, during the school day, working hand-in-hand with teachers. Lessons are led by 4-H staff, trained volunteers, or the teachers themselves—and they’re packed with hands-on activities that bring learning to life. Every program is designed to spark curiosity, boost understanding, and seamlessly support what students are already studying in school.
