Boone County 4-H Clubs
Boone County Shooting Sports
Organizational Leader: Brian Maricle. Focus: BB Gun, Air Rifle, Archery, Shotgun, .22 Rifle with a focus on Safety and Learning. (Must enroll in 4-H Online prior to the first meeting.)
Boone County Junior Leaders
Leaders: Hilary Maricle, Susan Staub. All 4-H members in the 8th grade or above are invited to join. Junior Leaders offer great support to the 4-H Program.
Boone County Robotics
Leader: Sarah Moeller. Focus: First Lego League, competitive.
Canine Cadets
Leaders: Delilah Potter and Teri Choat. Canine Cadets is about learning obedience skills, showmanship, and agility to better the partnership between you and your canine companion. All levels and ages are welcome to join in on the fun with you dog best friend.
Clever Clovers
Leader: Jean Meyers. Focus of the club: We have an emphasis on sewing, cooking, and home living projects A lot of our members also do horticulture projects. We have done such things as alcohol ink art, tie-dye, and barn quilts as club activities.
Country Kids
Leaders: Heather Brengelman and Stephanie Beckwith. Focus of Club: Small animal, leadership skills, livestock care, health maintenance and facilities, industry topics, judging, showmanship, home gardens, music, arts and crafts. Projects: This club offers activities that support interests in 4-H program areas such as community service, food science, safety, and general interests. The approximate start date for meetings in February, with the first meeting attended by parents and children.
Junior Pirates 4-H Club
Leader: Sharon Baker. Focus: 50%-50% Livestock and Home Environment. Also help Auxiliary distribute poppies every year, and take care of the Loretto Pioneer Cemetery.
Levi's 4-H Club
Leader: Deloris McMillan. Focus: Horse club, working on horsemanship, all-around horse, and have fun while we ride.
Rolling Hills
Leader: Kelli Meyers. Focus: Home Environment, Citizenship, Community projects.
