  • This is a fun event! 4-H member(s) choose a theme and dress themselves and the goats accordingly. Be creative! Invite your friends to help you show all the goats you brought. The Goat Show will take place Tuesday, July 14 at 9:00 am.

DIVISION 157 - MISCELLANEOUS PROJECTS - 2026 THEME - “Let’s Celebrate!”

Premiums: Purple-$3.00; Blue-$2.00; Red-$1.50; White-$1.00

  • In the miscellaneous project area, exhibitors may use whatever means is most effective in showing what they have accomplished in making the article. Items can include photographs, slides, posters, charts, drawings, articles, etc. The exhibit should include sufficient explanation (supporting documentation) so that viewers understand how exhibit was made. Supporting documentation can be a 4” x 6” card or 8 1/2” x 11” sheet of paper.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) may be used when creating the Experimental Photography Exhibits, with adult care-giver permission. Any artificial intelligence work must be referenced. The 4-H member’s original work must be the majority of exhibit. See the class details in the Photography section on page 17.

In 2026, we celebrate the semiquincentennial (250th anniversary) of the United states. This offers a unique opportunity to focus on projects that “Look to the Past” as well as “Shape the Future”. 250 years is a reason to celebrate! There will be many celebrations and patriotic events across our nation throughout the year.  

Feel free to utilize a county-only category below with our theme “Let’s Celebrate” or utilize another category to showcase your talents. The areas of Heritage, Citizenship, Photography and Home Design and Restoration can be great landing spots for a patriotic exhibit! We can’t wait to see what you create in 2026!
