ROUND ROBIN SHOWMANSHIP
To be held: Wednesday, July 16, at 1:00 pm, in conjunction with the Livestock Judging Contest.
An overall champion showman across the species of cattle, sheep, goats, and swine, will be selected from the champion showman in each species to compete in the Round Robin contest.
Each of the species will select a champion and reserve showman in each age division. The species champion will compete in the round robin competition unless they are selected in multiple species. In that case, they will pick which species they would like to represent, and the reserve champion will compete in the round robin.
The round robin competition will be held in conjunction with the livestock judging contest with the contestants serving as animal handlers in the contest. The judge(s) will rank the contestants 1-4 in each species shown. Lowest overall score when all the species ranks are added together wins. A species will be randomly drawn by the 4-H Council prior to the event to be used as a tiebreaker, if needed. The rank in that species will determine the winner in case of a tie.
