The Boone/Nance County Extension Board consists of a group of eight Board members (four from each county). Extension board members are appointed by the local County Board of Commissioners/Supervisors, making them a part of the county government. They serve as voting members of the advisory body of the Nebraska Extension Program in Boone and Nance Counties, focusing on programming, finance, personnel, and advocacy. Members commit time, talent, and resources to promote, value, and further the mission of the organization.
