Clover Kids

The purpose of Clover Kids program is to promote the positive development of youth to become competent, caring, contributing citizens. The learning experience is the primary reason for involvement in the program. Each exhibitor will receive a Clover Kid ribbon.
The 4-H Clover Kid Program is for youth between the ages 5 -7 years old on January 1 of the current calendar year. Clover Kid exhibitors must be enrolled in a 4-H club or as an individual 4-H member by June 15 (of the current year) enrollment deadline. Enrollment website: http://v2.4honline.com
Clover Kid projects are entered Monday, July 20 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm or Tuesday, July 21 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm, 4-H Building. Exhibitor is allowed ONE exhibit per class. Maximum 10 exhibits per exhibitor. Clover Kid (static) exhibits are NOT eligible for any other county competition and are NOT eligible for State Fair. Exhibit release: Sunday, July 26, 7:00 pm.

My Choice Exhibits: can use any media to create the exhibit and should relate to the project area.
Photography Display consists of up to three 4”x6” photos displayed on 11”x14” black or white poster board.
Posters or Drawings: maximum size is 8 1/2”x11”.
Project descriptions can be found in “The Big Book of 4-H Cloverbud Activities” manual that can be acquired at the Extension Office.

LIVESTOCK SHOW
General Rules & Info: 
Youth must be enrolled in 4hOnline (v2.4honline.com) by June 15th. All Clover Kid livestock must be entered in gage.fairwire.com by July 15th by 5:00 p.m. Ownership of livestock is not required. A Clover Kid can use livestock from a 4-Her that is already on the grounds. You must identify which 4-Her’s animal you will be using or identify that you are bringing your own. Minimal stalling available. Livestock that come the day of the show must leave the day of the show. No overnight stalling. There is no pre-identification and no YQCA needed for participation. This is a non-competitive show. Every Clover Kid will receive the same award and free show shirt will be provided. Livestock will be weighed. Per 4-H policy, livestock must weigh under 350lbs. Clover Kids can show as many species as they want. Show is a blow-and-go only. Clover Kids can participate in Peewee showmanship, open class, and the Clover Kid Livestock Show.
